Metal detectors play an important role in quality assurance applications for foreign material detection. The BFM® fitting system is an excellent alternative to the conventional OEM rigid nonmetal tubes supplied as standard with metal detection heads, which are difficult to inspect and clean.

 

The BFM® fitting system provides excellent visibility of product flow and are easy to fold and feed through the metal detector.  This flexibility, coupled with the simple snap-in installation, means BFM® connectors are also fast and easy to remove and replace from the metal detector for cleaning while providing improved access to upstream and downstream equipment.

 

For longer connector lengths plastic support rings can be added to retain the connector tube profile under operation for unrestricted product flow.
