Mixers combine ingredients to produce a new uniform product by diffusion, convection and shearing mixing mechanisms using mechanical and fluidizing agitation methods.

 

BFM® fitting connectors installed on the inlet and outlet connections of mixers and blenders provide visibility of the product flow while eliminating any dust leaking into the production area, resulting in fewer clean-ups required and a safer environment for operators. The simple snap-in installation means BFM® fitting connectors are also fast and easy to remove and replace improving overall operating efficiency.

 

In most applications space between the interfacing hoppers and mixer is minimal making it ideal for the BFM® connector which can only be installed the same way every time for a repeatable fit – important for hoppers on weigh scales.

 

BFM® fitting breather bags installed on the mixer cover assures venting of displaced air for fast filling and emptying to maintain blend uniformity by minimizing segregation.
